With four spectacular concerts Isabelle Faust will be resident artist in Muziekgebouw aan het IJ Amsterdam next season.
During the whole of season 2025-2026 Isabelle Faust will resident artist at Muziekgebouw aan het IJ in Amsterdam. The series of four concerts will open on 03 October 2025 with Beethoven’s Violin Concerto performed in collaboration with ensemble Les Siècle lead by Antonella Manacorda.
Then follows, on 22 October 2025 Isabelle’s amazing Bach solo project, an evening in which she will perform all Solo Sonatas and Partitas.
The third performance is on 27 February 2026 In this concert Isabelle and her vocal partner Anna Prohaska will lead the audience through György Kurtág’s Kafka Fragments. With this evening they will celebrate the composer’s 100th birthday!
Final concert of the residency on 23 May 2026 features the monumental Quatuor pour la fin du Temps by Olivier Messiaen for which Isabelle will be teaming up with Jörg Widmann, Jean Guihen Queyras and Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
