In 2022 Isabelle Faust and soprano Anna Prohaska recorded György Kurtág's Kafka Fragmenten, a release that received almost every accolade an artists can wish for. To celebrate Kurtág's 100th birthday in February 2026 they are taking the Kafka on tour. The 40 fragments set from extracts of Franz Kafka’s diaries and letters create an hour-long work of extraordinary variety and emotional depth.
We have only a few concert dates left for this project, around 27 February 2026.
In season 25/26 Isabelle will have dates available with a solo programme consisting of a selection of Sonatas and Partita's.
With Kristian Bezuidenhout she will go on tour presenting the six Sonatas for obligato harpsichord and violin, BWV 1014 – 1019.
