Alexander Melnikov in season 2025-2026

Programmes and projects

In 2025 the world will be commemorating the death of the great Dmitri Shostakovich 50 years ago. Alexander Melnikov is presenting all Preludes and Fugues for piano solo in a complete concert evening with two intervals for this event. An amazing journey which will take you to the heart of Shostakovich’ life and work. The cycle is available all through season 2025-2026.
For those who are looking for a slightly more edgy and off the beaten track solo programme, will be happy to hear that Melnikov is offering an evening with Schnittke, Gubaidulina and Denisov. But also a slightly more ‘classical’ recital with Schubert, Liszt and Scriabin is possible.
