The Jerusalem Quartet is a regular and beloved guest on the world’s great concert stages. Recent appearances include a Beethoven quartet cycle at Wigmore Hall in London; a Bartok cycle at the Salzburg Festival; their third annual String Quartet seminar in Crans Montana Switzerland; and since 2022 a residency at the Jerusalem Academy of Music.
In the season 25/26 the Jerusalem Quartet will celebrate its 30th birthday. They have selected their favourite pieces and programmed their ideal projects reflecting an amazing career as string quartet operating on the absolute forefront of the chamber music scene for such a long time. With pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja the Jerusalem has a very special bond. In this jubilee season they will be performing the glorious Dvorak Piano Quintet with her.
