Established in 2007, Meccore String Quartet are considered as one of the most interesting quartets of their generation. In April 2012 they won the 2nd prize at the Wigmore Hall String Quartet Competition in London. The ensemble also won an award at the 9th International String Quartet Competition Premio Paolo Borciani in Reggio Emilia.

The Quartet have given performances on major European music festivals and appeared in many prestigious concert halls, among others Beethovenhaus in Bonn, National Philharmony in Warsaw, Wigmore Hall in London, Musikverein in Vienna.
