STEFAN VLADAR    PIANO

VLADAR crMartin Stoebich

In 1985, Stefan Vladar, was youngest person ever to win the Beethoven Piano Competition in Bonn. It was the start signal for his international career, which has brought him to all of the large concert halls in Europe, America and Japan. He has given recitals, is a driven chamber music player and has performed with all the major orchestras. Alongside his flourishing career as a pianist Vladar has over the years also become a much sought-after conductor, oftern leading the orchestra from behind the keyboard. He frequently conducts orchestras such as the Mozateum Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg, with whom he made an extremely successful Mozart recording recently.  He has been chief-conductor of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra since May 2008.
